World Rulers

Rom. 13:3-4 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.   4 For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to [execute] wrath on him who practices evil.

Christ

Rom. 15:8-9  Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises [made] to the fathers,   9 and that the Gentiles might glorify God for [His] mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name."

Phoebe

Rom. 16:1-2  I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a servant of the church in Cenchrea,   2 that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints, and assist her in whatever business she has need of you; for indeed she has been a helper of many and of myself also.

Paul \ Apollos

1 Cor. 3:5-7   Who then is Paul, and who [is] Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?   6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.   7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

Paul

2 Cor. 3:5-6  Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as [being] from ourselves, but our sufficiency [is] from God,   6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Paul

2 Cor.6:4-6   But in all [things] we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses,   5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings;   6 by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love,

Ministers of Satan

2 Cor. 11:14-15   And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.   15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

False Teachers

2 Cor. 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? -- I speak as a fool -- I [am] more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often.

False Belief

Gal. 2:17-19  "But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, [is] Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!   18 "For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.   19 "For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God.

Paul

Eph. 3:6-7  that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,   7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.

Tychicus

Eph. 6:21   But that you also may know my affairs [and] how I am doing, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make all things known to you;

Church Leaders

Phil. 1:1 Paul and Timothy, bondservants of Jesus Christ,  To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons

Epaphras

Col. 1:7 as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf,

Paul

Col. 1:23-25   if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.   24 I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church,   25 of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,

Tychicus

Col. 4:7 Tychicus, a beloved brother (80 adelfoV ), faithful minister (1249 diakonoV ), and fellow servant (4889 sundouloV ) in the Lord, will tell you all the news about me.

Church Leaders

1 Tim. 3:8 Likewise deacons [must be] reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money,

Church Leaders

1 Tim. 3:12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling [their] children and their own houses well.

Timothy

1 Tim. 4:6 If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed.

The Church

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the body. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

The Path to Godliness Leads through the Valley of Suffering

1 Cor. 12:24-25 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

The Church

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.

Rejoice in the midst of Sufferings

1 Cor. 12:24-25 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 1 Peter 1:6-7 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith--more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

The Body

Romans 12:4-5 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
