Edifying in Ephesians

Eph. 2:20 (NKJV) having been built (2026) on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner[stone], 21 in whom the whole building, (3619) being joined together, (4883) grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together (sun & 3918) for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Eph. 4:12 (NKJV) for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying (3619) of the body of Christ,

Eph. 4:16 from whom the whole body, joined (4883) and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying (3619) of itself in love.

Eph. 4:29 (NKJV) Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, (3619) that it may impart grace to the hearers.

The Path to Godliness Leads through the Valley of Suffering

1 Cor. 12:24-25 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

Rejoice in the midst of Sufferings

1 Corinthians 12:26-27 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 1 Peter 1:6-7 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith--more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
