Col. 4:12 Epaphras, who is [one] of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Laboring fervently [ajgwnivzomai]

Ø       to enter a contest: to contend with adversaries, fight; metaph. to contend, struggle, with difficulties and dangers, to endeavour with strenuous zeal, strive: to obtain something

Stand [2476] (i{sthmi) metaphorically, to stand firm, take a position

Ø       Ephesians 6:11-14  Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  13  Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand (stand against) [in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  14  Therefore stand, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness

Perfect [5046] (tevleioV) signifies having reached its end (telos), finished; with ethical import, fully grown, mature

Ø       Eph 4:13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

Ø       Col 1:28 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.

Complete - Filled [4137] (plhrovw)

Ø       Ephesians 3:17-19  that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  18  may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height,  19  and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Ø       Col. 1:9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Will of God

Ø      Col. 1:9-11 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;  10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing [Him], being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;  11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;

I covenant to enter into the spiritual battle by laboring fervently in prayer for YOU that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

"Are you living an abundant, victorious Christian life?"

The Path to Godliness Leads through the Valley of Suffering

1 Peter 1:6-7 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,.
