Q -- Who is God?

A. -- He is my heavenly Father

Romans 8:15 (NKJV) 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

Galatians 4:6 (NKJV)  6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

Q -- Who Am I?

A. -- I am a child of God

Romans 8:16-17 (NKJV)  16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Q -- What is my relationship to my Heavenly Father?

A. -- We have a personal, intimate love relationship.

Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed [us] into the kingdom of the Son of His love

1 John 4:19  We love Him because He first loved us.

Mark 12:30  and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength." This is the first commandment.  31  And the second is like this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.. . . . .33  And to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love the neighbor as himself, is more than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices.

1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13  but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
